THE MOST TERRIFYING THINGS THAT HAVE HAPPENED TO ME

Chapter 1: In court when not guilty

PREFACE:

Bang! went the hammer.

I was not guilty.

The patrol sounds repeated, as I was arrested.

The truth of me was the choice between life and death.

As I was walking to the court, I was shivering, my legs trembling.

"BRING IN THE ACCUSED!" the judge ordered. DONG! went the hammer. The patrol forced me to sit on the chair. They bound my hands to the wooden stumps.

"I, JAY..." the judge began, "SH!" the patrol screamed. You're not being so quiet yourself , I  thought.

"I ,Jay...am the judge for this case regarding..."

"Tony," I spat.

"Tony," the judge continued, "will be tried by the government," he tilted his head toward his left side, "and the jury, on my right, will provide evidence to help us determine if Tony is guilty or not."

"So," the judge asked,"what is the case?"

"He was seen stealing some valuable jewels," said one person,"but I don't think it was him."

Mutterings of agreement spread through the crowd.

"Why do you think this?" the judge asked.

"His...um..." she fidgeted as she thought of words.

"It wasn't me," I said calmly, "I was-

"Oh!" the jury woman exclaimed, "That thief just didn't have Tony's personality."

"Okay," the judge said slowly, "Tony, you will be held in custody in a luxury room until we sort things out." "A letter will come to you."

Hours later, while Tony was in his room, a paper was slid to him.

It said:

Dear Mr. Tony,

You have been found innocent. We are sorry for misjudging you as we release you.

We vow to find that thief and capture him.

Kind regards,

Ben Wast,

Head of PRIMARY COURT

Tony screamed with joy.

He. Was. OUT!

                                     Chapter 2:The tsunami of 2004

PREFACE:

Trees rolled over, smashing the buildings nearby.

Skyscrapers toppled down, the glass shattering, spreading across the destroyed roads.

Leo could only look down, not up, holding his hands over his head.

He was soon going to die.

Leo was running across the street with his friends, his hands piled. They playfully threw them at each other: laughing when somebody got hit unconciously.

Suddenly, a storm rumbled.

Thunder rolled across the sky, while the lightning flashed onto the soil. Leo and his friends went inside his house.

Rain pattered the windows, dancing in the air. Leo checked the waves, as his home was near the sea.

The waves grew, stretching like rubber. Suddenly, they smashed against the beach. "RUN!" Leo shouted to his friends.

The waves rolled over the sand, submerging it easily.
