THE ICE MOUNTAIN

                                                CHAPTER ONE




 "Today," said my teacher,"you guys will be travelling to Antarctica! Isn't that exciting?!"

'Oh great,'I thought,'this is the worst day of my life!' Gavin(the teacher's pet) asked,"Will we be going in groups,Miss?"

"Yes, Gavin,"the teacher said,"you will be going in groups." 

'My day just keeps getting worse and more worse,' my brain groaned.

"Your groups are on the TV."

Once I had found my group,I let out a shriek of joy.

I was with two of my friends, Billy and John.They screamed as well.So I waited and waited until the big day came.On that day I was watching the news. Three big ships arrived. I wondered why there were three.
